Description

The AIRCAT 25 Crewliner is a high-speed SES (Surface Effect Ship) designed for efficient offshore transport solutions for oil & gas operations.

As an alternative to conventional intrafield vessels, the AIRCAT 25 Crewliner brings a step change in offshore crew transfer operations. With transit speeds approximately twice those of traditional crewboats and a personnel capacity ranging from 36 to 54, it enables a single vessel to perform missions typically requiring multiple intrafield units.

Combining catamaran-type side hulls with flexible rubber skirts at the bow and stern, the vessel creates an air cushion supplied by a liftfan between the hulls. This system lifts up to 80% of the vessel’s weight, significantly reducing hydrodynamic resistance and enabling high-speed performance while maintaining low fuel consumption.

The air cushion system is also equipped with an active motion compensation system, which reduces vertical accelerations and improves onboard comfort across a wide range of sea conditions. This ensures smoother navigation, safer transfers, and an extended operational weather window for offshore logistics.

Designed to be classed by Bureau Veritas (BV) or the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), the vessel complies with applicable rules and standards for offshore operations.
